Specialized interface and varied sonorities

A new interface panel was specifically designed for the guitar in Pianoteq, to give you access to the gestures of a real guitarist—palm mutes, harmonics, rasgueado, and more. It helps you grasp the intricate behavior of the guitar, even when played on a keyboard.

Multiple recording configurations are included in this pack: in addition to several superb classical guitar presets, you will find a 12-string guitar, a clean jazz tone, and even a distorted electric guitar, empowering you to push the boundaries of your creativity.

Authentic sound with every detail

Powered by Pianoteq’s advanced physical modelling, this virtual guitar introduces a unique layer of realism through the simulation of sympathetic resonance. By emulating the subtle interactions between vibrating strings and open strings, the model captures the harmonic richness and complexity that define the classical guitar.

An array of essential sounds—like finger-picking and other natural playing noises and buzz—have been carefully integrated to faithfully recreate the tactile nuances of the guitar.

The Poetry of guitar tone

The Classical Guitar for Pianoteq is modelled from three high-quality guitars, among which the C9 guitar from the luthier Jean-Marie Fouilleul.

Guitar sound is a language, defined by words, grammar, etc., and a language should be precise and rich at the same time to convey a poetic or philosophic thought, or a casual conversation! I seek to make delicate and coherent instruments and I think that the starting point of this, is a rich tone, dynamics, and balance.—J-M Fouilleul.
